This game is super fun and I would love to see a full version!! I really love it, I especially think finding the most efficient way to use the patterns on the fabric is really fun and I like how it works. I think maybe adding an ability to skip the sewing stage once your reach the necessary quality threshold would be a nice addition :) It would also be cool to be able to save like a scrapbook of your past dresses within the game or something like that.
things i would like to be added : for example taking the person's mesurment would make it even more realistic and dress making proccess will take more time, also the fabric's quality, i would love to try on the fabrics colors and the sketches before getting to the cutting, and i would love more if we have belts maybe sleevs also veils or hats or bags to make too all along with jeans !! i would love if u actually make a discord server i would love to follow this journey
this game is sooo good !!! i can't stop playing it and so exited for the release, i hope it will stay free later tho cuz i'm enjoying it a lot! the vibe, the graphics , the sound all makes it so cozy and warm. i've always liked to find this kind of games before and i can't imagine more of those beautiful games! well instead of this, i didn't find bugs, maybe just when i tried to put the cutted peaces on the mannequin it laged a bit but it's complietly fine. well also i would love if you work more on the patterns and if u make more kind of accesiories and type of cuts, maybe pants and to include men too on the mission! i'm so in love with this game, thank you so much!!!
This is just an idea you can try or not:Try adding a creativity mode : where players compete & Challenge each other online in designing clothes and whoever gets the most hearts or likes has the best design in the game. This is where we see the maximum power of the clothes design Prototype in the game and this mode is different from the normal game mode.
im in love with this game!! i would love to see it develop , only thing i would mention is more fabrics, i love the current ones but would like to see some more variety! ive noticed some bugs, such as accessories not showing up (just once), the cut fabric pieces staying on the fabric screen and having doubles when theyre dragged to the side menu. i would love to get updates on it frequently so maybe a discord server could be made while in the development phase? i see a lot of people excited to play this game and so i think it would be nice to post updates every once in a while! i love the idea of adding sizing, i think they should also add a possible mode thats similar to the end of the current game, soft of stepping away from the story and giving us freedom to make dresses to sell outright and casually in the shop so we dont ALWAYS have to follow guidelines and have a bit of our own creativity mixed in! thank you to the creators for this game so so much im obsessed <3
I love this game so much I literally went outta my way to make an account to comment :333 I didn't find any bugs luckily, but I gotta admit I wish there was an easier way to tell which pattern piece goes where before cutting. More than once I've messed up a dress just cus I cut a piece out in the wrong color. But other than that I had a great time playing! And I love the fact you can just start the game over when you finish it.
I absolutely adored this game! I had so much fun locking in and color matching fabrics to find the perfect combination that made me happy uwu
I'm still proud of the rainbow gown I made for Miss Prudence--took a lot of planning and color finagling but I was proud of the outcome! I definitely can't wait to see even more accessories and details like lace, trims, embroidery etc. to be added in the future hopefully!
Looking forward to this getting made into a full game :3
Really really loved this game. I played it for 5 hours straight. Definitely needs a mouse to play. It's doable with a trackpad, but difficult. The commissions were fun to do, and they leave a lot of freedom for the design, which I like. I think the game play is pretty solid. Of things I'd change, I'd like to see more options for fabric colors, skirt lengths, styles, and accessories. I also noticed the pencil doesn't include all of the colors the fabrics use, when I find it helpful to plan out how I envision the dress. Also being able to draw on the patterns I want to use would be nice. Lastly, I would really want to see in the future the addition of belts. Other features that can be sewn onto the dress, like bows or capes would be cute!
I ABSOLUTELY love this game! The background picture is so pretty and I really like the cat lol.
I personally experienced no major bugs, but sometimes there was clipping if a dress had multiple layers. I do wish bows sat nicer on dresses but it was something I could get past and when you change fabrics the templates and cut outs don't like to stay in the inventory lol. I wish there was more colors and fabrics to choose from closer to the beginning (mostly just a high quality white). At first, I didn't really understand the grading scale, and now that I do, I almost wish that it was harsher and they had more opinions lol.
I didn't mind the sewing mechanics at all and I feel as long as you end with a 100% then the quality the dress would be fine. I love the newspaper and the idea of gaining reputation. The character designs are great and I love that the storyline is there, but isn't the main focus. This game is every I've ever wanted in a game and I ASOLUTELY love it. Thank you <3
AAAAA I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! As a professional tailor this is soo cool T-T never did I think that I would see my job in a cozy videogame! I love the art, the music, the mechanics, fabrics, patterns, aaa what is there that I dont love about this?! I would love for this to become a full game, I can't wait <33
(also, if you have any interest in translating this game to german in order to reach even more people, feel free to let me know!! ^^)
LOVE!!!! The concept is everything I have ben looking for in a new game. Looking forward to seeing the developments made in the future as it is obviously not fully finished but it has ENORMOUS potential to only get better! Only issue I experienced was having to exit the mannequin station and kind of reset the UI if I wanted to sew bottom layer to top layer on like a tiered skirt. Other than that, very cute very cozy! Looking forward to having more color options as well as styles to put together! Thank y'all for sharing this with us! <3
ah! i love this game :D its so fun. im not great at the sewing, but im glad there isnt a time limit and i can retry lol. so looking forward to the release :)
I had a great time with this. I only ran into one small bug (cut pattern pieces dropping out of the UI when cycling through fabrics), and enjoyed the controls for the sewing mechanic.
First of all, I love the game, it's so cosy and cute. I adore the whole process of making dresses, from the design to the sewing. It has got a huge potential, the fabrics are incredibly recreated, the whole vibe of the place is amazing!
However, I've encountered some problems.
- The first problem was sewing. For me, as a wasd and arrows player, it was incredibly hard and frustrating to sew. Some players who play on touchpad might have issues with the mechanics. I think that adding the option to change from keys to mouse may be useful.
- I thing that tutorial was a bit chaotic, at least for me. Sometimes the bubbles appeared in weird places. That might be a me problem though :D
- Style of dresses is also important. While fabrics play a big role, you would not wear a sweetheart neckline to work, so I think that making appropraite tags for styles of dresses might be helpful.
- Also, the percentage on the sewing machine was kind of random to me and i was confused why i was on the line and it showed me 60%.
- I think is a me problem again, but i have no idea what is going on with the prices, quality of the dress, it feels ike it wasn't explained enough.
- when i cut the material and discard it, the fabric is still on the table and i have to move it. maybe it could be moved somewhere?
- maybe the clients come to the shop with a rough idea, their favourite type of dress. Maybe their preferences should be in the comments about what they want to buy?
- one more thing about the newest version 0.4.4. - i cannot install it on my mac. The version before works just fine, no problems, but this one downloads as a zip and when i unpack it is says that the computer cannot open the file.
Overall, the game is beautiful. The game reminded me of good pizza great pizza game in a positive way. Good job guys and keep going!!
Amazing game, I absolutely adore the art style, its so charming. I love getting to customize to my hearts content, makes my adhd go brrrrr. All the styles, and colors, and ways I can put them together is so satisfying! Can't wait for all the new styles and colors in the full game!
Would love to be able to zoom in during the sewing, would help with the accuracy. And be able to move the dress around more for accessory placement, would help with the little add-ons.
Definitely wishlisting for when the full game comes out!!
Great game! Loved it. I must mention i came across a bug: while the fabric is being cut, you are able to take the piece to the inventory, while the fabric is intact. it comes handy on terms of money management, but im pretty sure it's not supposed to do that.
Really enjoying this game. Will definitely be getting this for myself and probably buying it for my friend too when it comes out. For some reason I cant see the tags in the notebook making it really hard to make the dresses fit the requirements, has anyone came across a fix for this? Cant wait to see how this game progresses!
The dress tags are shown in the sketchbook when you drag fabric samples onto the page. (It's a bit complicated as to why, but I'm told that most dresses don't have inherent tags without also choosing fabric.)
If it doesn't show the tags after adding fabric samples then it's a bug...
I really Loveee playing this game. It's been a long time I played game like this so it feels a bit nostalgia. I just have a few recommendations.
For the sketching part it would be awesome if we could add patterns, not just colors, when sketching. Also, having more color choices and dress designs would make it even more fun.
Sewing Machine part if this part was a little easier to control. The guideline could also be more visible, especially when working with lighter color fabrics.
Fabric, Texture & Accessories
I really hope if the fabric texture would be more visibly different so that we could really feel what kind of dress we want to make.
Being able to change cut fabric without wasting it would make designing easier.
It'd be nice if we could resize accessories to make them bigger or smaller to match the outfit and more accessories.
Overall I've enjoyed playing this thanks you for making this and grateful to be a part of this. I wish to see the final version of this game quickly.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game, not only is it cozy and pleasant to look at but the premise is super appealing. I love the fabrics at hand however id love to see more vibrant nd variant within the colours available (personally id prefer the colours over patterns but they're always a plus).
id love to also see character relationship status (and maybe in the far future something to do with that status - for example maybe giving a discount on outfits). and as much as i love making gorgeous dresses id love to see some male customers and male outfits (especially a waist coat).
i understand at this time theres limited components to the game however i think the option to refuse or haggle prices could be interesting and then once they've seen the final piece and aren't happy with it they ask for a refund or price deduction or something which adds an element of risk so the player has to ensure they have enough funds in at all times rather than just spending it all on materials.
other honorable mentions/ideas: maybe the characters could bring you the material with a rough sketch/area marked out in your pattern process that indicates where they want it specifically so you have to manage that fabric to fit it all on as that's all you have (because they brought it in themselves)
- as a sewer this game is so close to reality it's amazing
- I love the variety of fabric, the types of it, well represented
- I love that there are so many options to choose from
- The cat interaction :D
Bugs and improvements :
- Making the hand more steady
- I don't get how the percentage is calculated
- The line to sew seems to have sometimes its own will ahah :D
- i got several times the same newspapper in the same game
My ideas for you:
- An easier way to gameplay the sew process maybe ? (or a future mode that allows to skeep it)
- why not making more than dresses like pants, jumpsuits, skirts, tops... 0-0
- A sandbox mode !
- I'd love to dress my own character
- More tea about the characters !
Hope it helps you and keep you motivated, I can wait to play more of this game and I could totally pay for the final game when it will be finished, up to 20€ or maybe more if you get to make the history last longer enough (at least 20 costumer i'd say ? )
I was really happy about the news, I don't know if it is what you have in mind but maybe the most adequate the dress is to the occasion, the most attention it gets, if you have two or more dresses in the same event.
I would also like to see someone who doesn't have money to pay for a dress, for us to use the less expensive fabric, and that character could have a butterfly effect just because of her good action of doing a dress for free! Maybe the character could become the princess or something lol, that would be nice to see.
Also, there could be men's clothing!
I read some other comments and they made sense in some ways, usually a, unknown dressmaker would not be searched by nobility to do dresses, the business needs to grow for it to have such a clientele.
Maybe there could be also an increase in the price of the dress if it's quality is higher than expected, but totally reliant on the requirer's personality, a stingy person wouldn't give more money and a really sweet person may give more money just because it fits what she was asking for.
Also, there could be a brush for paints and patterns, I really wanted some different coloured flowers and buttons, and some of the fabrics didn't really match with others with similar colors but with patterns, because of the color not being cold or warm enough.
I really like this game but got some things I would love to see. More colors for the design process would be nice. The option to rip seams to try again, when you fail a seam badly and the option to make male clothes like a suit (would be a nice dlc)
A really pretty game! I encountered some minor bugs, like the thread track not showing a couple times while sewing and some customers not being happy even though I met all the right criteria, but I loved it anyways! Keep going it's going to be an amazing game♥♥♥
I had problems with the thread track too. It was only 2 or 3 times on one dress though, so overall I still enjoyed this game immensely. I'm really impressed with this game prototype and I can't wait fr the full release!!
I work at a charity Maker Zone all based in STEM learning and today's session we planned was all based on the wonderful skill and talent that is dressmaking, this session was made so much more engaging and entertaining for our young people thanks to this game. The working to a budget, mouse skills and patience it requires is beautifu
this game prototype was incredible ! so cozy and the stations felt intuitive (other than some bugs), i felt like i was really running my own little shop. PLEASEEE make it a full game, i would purchase this and play infinitely. p.s. could there be a silly feature to make clothes for the cat ? size-wise, anyway. <333
This game is awesome! I am currently starting to learn sewing etc and this cozy game is perfect ! Please keep working on it, its too good of a game to not be completed !
I really love this game! I would suggest that we could do more kinds of clothes such as skirts, shirts, suits, etc rather than just dresses as it would be nice to also dress up male costumers or just other people in general. Other than that the game is so fun! I enjoyed playing it sm
I usually dont leave a comment on a game, i absolutely love this game its amazing. I hope a full version will come out, i have recommended this game so my friends.
Came here from Cute Games Club video, because I am interested in the game! It is amazing, I would want to play such a game. Cannot wait to see what you can do with this.
Literally made an account just to comment how much I adored playing this!!!!!! I hope to see this as a fully realised game, I would 100% buy it! Some things I would love to see would be more patterns and fabric, with more accessories, and lace!!! Pls add lace!! Thank you so much for this lovely prototype!!!
There are instructions near the bottom of the game description titled "Mac issues" that might help you, if your Mac says something about the game being untrusted or potentially malicious.
Came here from Terry's (CuteGamesClub) youtube video and just saw the news ya'll got greenlit, congrats!!!!
Completed the prototype and i was immediately teleported back in time to younger me playing barbie and dressup games and having so much
Love the style, the cosy vibe
I would ask to make the mechanic for the "sewing" processs to be made easier, cause playing on my laptop and without a mouse extension, turning the fabric around was near impossible and almost made me mess up.
As well as in the "sketching" section if there's an option to add the patterns after choosing the colors for more accurate matching and choosing of fabrics
I can't wait to play the full version and what more gaming elements can be added to it~~
i would love to see
growing your business element (like making clothes for a smaller clientele, to making your way up being commissioned by a Queen, etc) - moving to owning bigger stores -an option to put up advertising models of your designs in front of the shop - decorating your shop
personally, i just like having my own avator so building your own avatar, dressing them up?
I think getting kinda involved in the society drama element might be fun -type of relationship you build with certain characters (based on what you hear about them) affects the kind of clientele you get in the future with a cost and reward system (E.g. you hear about a lower noble getting bullied by higher standing nobles, you do your best to make her dress the best at the ball? Do you sabotage the bully's dress? choosing either might lead to gaining/losing a particular type of clientele)
Priority systems? Higher standing society members may bribe you to push their orders to the front, do you take it? it might risk losing loyal clients tho
customers from other countries, a fantasy element with an added storyline kinda thing and where sometimes you get to travel to other countries for customers there and with that you get to use special materials from those countries and different techniques and skill upgrades from those journeyss
more pet avatars you can bring home from those journeys and make clothes for them (and please, gaming elements for those pet avatars, i love interacting with pet avatars in all games, maybe even dressing them up or side quests of stitching them toys, blankets etc.)
Hey, we've added keyboard controls (you can use Space and the arrow keys) which hopefully makes it a bit easier for people not using mouses! Let me know if that works for you!
Downloaded the update and played it again today! The new mechanics are great! but it's not functioning that well? like sometimes i click the spacebar just once and let go and it continues to stitch till the quality reaches negative percent and then i gotta start over. This especially happens for the really small turns in the fabric. it may need some more fine tuning
I loved playing this prototype! It was so cozy and felt very satisfying to finish a dress. The sewing machine mechanic was *chefs kiss*. I enjoyed all the different designs I could make and would love to see more styles added in the final game.
Bugs: When assembling the dresses the button for sewing didn't always appear. I had to either grab new pattern pieces from the inventory and hover them over the dress form or back out of the dress assembly area and go back into it for them to appear.
When I discarded unused fabric, already cut pieces were moved from the inventory on to the table.
Features that would be nice:
It would be nice for style ratings to appear for the type of bodice, sleeves, skirts, and collar choices.
It would be good if you has the option to resew a section if the quality wasn't very good.
I would have liked it if I could assemble the skirt separately to the bodice and them sew them together at the end instead of sewed pieces being stuck on the dress form.
Overall, this was a great prototype and I would love to play the full game!

Hi I really loved this game. Any chance I can help with translating it to Spanish? I really wish my mom could play it lol
I really loved it!
Below, some of my favorite dresses that I made!
Do you remember which panel/garment it was that had issues?
I work at a charity Maker Zone all based in STEM learning and today's session we planned was all based on the wonderful skill and talent that is dressmaking, this session was made so much more engaging and entertaining for our young people thanks to this game. The working to a budget, mouse skills and patience it requires is beautifu
love this game so much! a couple of improvements:
- it'd be great to be able to view your draft on the sewing table to remember which pieces you planned as which fabric.
-I also got a glitch a few times with the line for sewing not showing up on the ruffle sleeves, had to guess my way through!
this game prototype was incredible ! so cozy and the stations felt intuitive (other than some bugs), i felt like i was really running my own little shop. PLEASEEE make it a full game, i would purchase this and play infinitely.
p.s. could there be a silly feature to make clothes for the cat ? size-wise, anyway. <333
Really enjoyed the game!
-I'd love for there to be a button to 90degree rotate a piece, the sharp corners were hard to get precise.
-Would love to do separate pieces like just a skirt, just a top.
-Noticed some of the sleeve pieces were not labeled, so I had to recut my tiered sleeve because the tier was the wrong colour.
I found for sharp corners, it was easier to stop and use the arrow keys to rotate a piece, see if this helps!
I really love this prototype but I sadly can't open the app since the new update with my MacBook
yes you can! got to privacy and security and scroll down - there is an option to download anyway! I have a Mac and it worked for me
There are instructions near the bottom of the game description titled "Mac issues" that might help you, if your Mac says something about the game being untrusted or potentially malicious.
I can't wait to play the full version and what more gaming elements can be added to it~~
i would love to see
Hey, we've added keyboard controls (you can use Space and the arrow keys) which hopefully makes it a bit easier for people not using mouses!
(playing on a macbook)
